What is the STYLE you are drawn to? What colors & patterns do you favor?
These are important questions to ask yourself if your not sure what style of design you fall under. Many people make mistakes & repeat what they might be hearing on TV or read in a magazine & assume they are that style. For example… You might be expressing you likes & dislikes in design to an Interior Designer & tell them you like “Modern Design” but what you really meant is your like something fresh & new… not Modern. Or You might feel comfortable in the style home you were raised in but are attracted to a more trendy look of that familiar style… But how are you describing what that is? As Designers we find some people really don’t recognize their personal “Design Title”. While we are getting to know our New Clients we ask them questions to stimulate their mind to think about the colors, textures & metal finishes they are drawn to. Here are some descriptions that will help you understand “Your Style” better…

TRANSITIONAL: Cool Soft Colors: Grey, Greige, Beige, White…Patterns: Geometric, Tone on Tone Over All Random Texture, Silver, Brass & Gold Tone Metals, Polished, Brushed & Metallics mixed w/ accents of Lucite Acrylic.
MODERN: Rich, Deep, Bold Tones: Green, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Fuchsia, Red…High Gloss Black & White, Smooth Surfaces, Clean Edges & Lines…Patterns: Abstract, Metallic Golds & Silver, Polished Brass & Chrome.
GLAM STYLE: Metallics, Sparkly Bling, Shimmers, High Luster, Animal Prints, Leather, Modern Damask, High Gloss, Lacquer, Crystal, Agate Stone, Lucite, Polished Brass & Chrome.
